Eyes should be examined -LRB- after pupil dilatation -RRB- once every year . If any changes are observed , the doctor should ' refer one to an ophthalmologist for further evaluation and management . रोगी की आंखों का ( तारा का फैलाव करके ) हर वर्ष परीक्षण कराना चाहिए.यदि आंखों में मधुमेह के कारण कोई परिवर्तन नजर आते हैं तो किसी नेत्र विशेषज्ञ से भावी आकलन तथा उपचार के लिए संपर्क करना चाहिए .
